JOB DESCRIPTIONS:
- Establish a strong business network with external stakeholders globally to drive new business prospects, growth and profitability for the meat and poultry business
- Identify and assess customer needs and sales opportunities, locally and internationally, while gathering market intelligence in the industry.
- Able to bring in frozen meat business in across FMCG, meat foods manufacturers, wholesalers, supermarkets and etc
- Perishable products sourcing and procurement especially in Meat (Lamb/ Poultry/ Beef etc)
- Formulate and execute trading business strategies for new market entry, considering supplier, countries, clients, financial and regulatory perspectives.
- Kept up to date on the markets, pricing, movements and supply/demand pressure to capitalise on trading opportunity
- Diversify and manage trade networks to maximize value while minimizing risks to the company, as well as managing price negotiations to ensure profitability.
- Review with continuous improvement on supply chain resilience to support a large and diversified trade network.
- Manage and negotiate commercial & operational terms and conditions on purchase and sale agreements in order to mitigate risks.
- Research, analyze, monitor and report daily market performance to support forecasting and trends
- Work collaboratively with cross functional teams to develop effective trade strategies aligned with the company’s mission and directives.

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
- Degree in any related field
- Proven working experience in handling and processing frozen food
- Prior working experience in retail fresh food operation
- Willing to do early morning shift work and flexibility to work late evenings
- Able to work longer hours with prolonged period of standing
- Must be willing to work on weekends/PH. (Strictly off on week days)
- Field work required. Need to do delivery if driver is off / medical leave or urgency of goods when required
- Must have knowledge to control storage room temperatures for frozen products,
- Familiar with food handling and handling process
- Able to withstand pungent smell of meat/livestock working environment
- Able to work under pressure to meet tight deadlines when required
- Preferably bilingual to liaise with Indian speaking suppliers and vendors in view of working/business environment communication
- Ability to handle ambiguity, and work in a fast paced, environment
- Ability to plan and execute strategies to achieve Company’s objectives
- Strong team player with the ability to build rapport and maintain collaborative working relationships
