Scientist Position in the field of Enzyme Engineering

Our center combines cutting-edge technologies and state-of-the-art instruments to drive research innovation. With a commitment to a greener and sustainable future, our research focuses on developing enzymes as biocatalysts to replace toxic and harmful chemical processes. For enzymes to be effective in industrial applications, they require continuous improvement and optimization. The objectives of our research program are to develop versatile high-throughput screening platforms to engineer enzymes that meet industrial needs efficiently.
Job Responsibilities:
- Engineer enzymes to improve thermostability, kinetics, or substrate specificity to meet industrial needs.
- Set up high-throughput screening systems for activity validation.
- Communicate research findings and apply them within Wilmar factories to develop new manufacturing processes and products using green technology.
Job Requirements:
- A Ph.D. degree in Biological Science/ Molecular Biology (including enzyme and protein engineering).
- Strong molecular biology skill
- Ability to set up high-throughput screening assays.
- Excellent communication skills and a team player.
- Ability to work independently.
