Programme Executive, Education Vertical
We are looking for passionate individuals committed to the cause of enabling socially disadvantage low income families and communities realise their aspirations of getting out of the poverty cycle.
Responsibilities:
Programme planning
· Support Education Lead in the strategic planning and curation of the programme activities
· Support Education Lead in developing family and/or community engagement programmes to empower not just the children, but also develop partnerships with families and communities
· Collaborate with volunteers, community, school and strategic partners to weave holistic programming
Programme implementation, monitoring and evaluation
· Support Education Lead in operationalising programme forages through close workings with Education Admin Exec and SCC Shared Corporate Services
· Develop programme workflows, train and communicate roles clearly with varying partners and stakeholders
· Collaborate with Community Engagement and Shared Corporate Services in the outreach and/or training
· Track the key metrics for the programme effectiveness of the various educational programs
Operations management
· Collaborate with Admin Exec to coordinate educational programmes
· Pursue and design for operational efficiency in the process of running the vertical’s operations
· Track the key metrics for the operational effectiveness of the various educational programs
This role may entail onsite work on 1-2 weekday evenings or weekend mornings. We practise flexibility in working hours to ensure team members have the time off and rest that they are entitled to.
Requirements:
· Passionate about the cause of transforming children’s life outcomes holistically
· Has educational qualifications and professional trainings related to education and/or child and youth development (e.g. Early Childhood/MOE educator (curriculum and pedagogist), Early Interventionist, Speech & Lang Therapist, Occupational Therapist, Educational Therapist)
· Minimum 4 years of experience working with vulnerable children and families in the social or education sector
· Experienced and competent in organising, developing and conducting activities/workshops/trainings
· Demonstrated ability to respectfully engage and effectively enable families and educators on making positive behavioural changes
· Able to operate effectively and independently in a dynamic and fluid work environment
· Self-motivated with a thirst for operational efficiency and programme effectiveness
· Project management savvy: Detail-oriented, with strong administrative skills and the ability to manage deadlines, and responsibilities, anticipate risks and plan for different scenarios
· People-oriented – you'll thrive in this job if you genuinely enjoy working with partners, community, children and their parents
