Job Function:
· Responsible for RMA product quality issue resolution.
· and device level evaluation techniques utilizing a variety of fault isolation and debug tools such as ATE, XRAY, CSAM, IV curve, bench, phone and FFA/MTP among others. You will lead debug and data gathering activity in partnership with other technical disciplines
· provide strategic direction and team leadership working in collaboration with other regional leads to share and align on best practices. His strong understanding of product from an Engineering Design & Development perspective will help bridge effective communications within the organization.
Technical Expertise:
· Working experience in analyzing LTE, WCDMA, CDMA, GSM, 1x, EVDO, UMTS modes issues, Apps processor’s Camera, Audio, Video encoding and graphics validations issues, Hardware verifications on CPU, GPU, Memory, RAM, DDR, L1, L2, Cache, cross functional groups
including design, marketing, product test engineering and supply chain.
· Experience in semiconductor assembly, SMT and packaging associated issue, understanding the relevant mechanical test parameters.
Education/Experience
· The candidate should possess a BS degree Engineering in Electrical/Computer/Communication (MS is preferred) with minimum of 5 years of experience
· Minimum 4 years hands on customer support/customer quality/product quality engineering/product test engineering.
· Hands on knowledge/application of quality tools, statistics, and problem-solving techniques.
· Experience with microelectronics, surface mount technology, semiconductor fabrication or assembly, and/or offshore customer is a plus.
· Demonstrated proficiency in the following soft skills: being proactive and taking initiative to drive issue resolution; having a teachable attitude; being a team player
· ASQ certification is a plus
