Job Description
We are seeking experienced Cloud Architect who will be responsible for designing and implementing infrastructure and cloud solutions for projects within Asset Management team.
Mandatory Skill-set
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Has 3 years of experience in IT infrastructure and developing cloud architecture designs;
- Experience in AWS, GCP, and/or Azure;
- Knowledge and exposure in landing zone design, cloud migration initiatives and native cloud services;
- Knowledgeable in current requirements and policies of regulators for cloud migration or implementation such as MAS TRM, BNM RMIT;
- Deploy and configure solutions in the cloud.
- Automate cloud operations, develop infrastructure automation scripts and participates in the continuous improvement of cloud solutions.
- Participate in the specification, setup and run Proof of Concepts and demonstrations of cloud solutions.
- Administer and maintain servers across virtual platforms.
- Experience with multi-cloud environments, hybrid cloud solutions, cloud security and compliance requirements;
- Experience in software development, DevOps, and networking, CI/CD pipelines and tools like Jenkins, GitLab;
- Willingness and hands-on ability to actively participate in all infrastructure, cloud and related activities;
- Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with both internal and external stakeholders.

Responsibilities
- Work closely with internal application, security, and infrastructure architects to develop public cloud architectural designs for cloud migration for appointed Cloud Services Providers (CSP(s)) that are scalable, reliable and within budget;
- Liaise with cross functional teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of the cloud infrastructure solutions;
- Involved in providing cloud architecture, technical guidance and adopt best practice solutions to project teams across CSP(s) and internal technology teams;
- Responsible for developing platform automation solutions with cloud engineers using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools such as Cloud formation, Terraform, and ARM Templates;
- Involved in implementation of proper controls and governance activity according to architecture designs on CSP(s) and adhere to all regulatory requirement;
- Implement cloud best practices to optimize cost, performance, and security across CSP(s);
- Lead and implement proof of concept projects on CSP(s) and ensure prudent documentation for all cloud architecture, guidelines for development and operational teams;
- Responsible for conducting rigorous testing and troubleshooting to ensure optimize infrastructure performance and security.
