The Logistics Warehouse Manager is responsible for overseeing and managing all warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to optimize warehouse productivity, maintain accurate inventory, and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
Job Duties
- Oversee the daily operations of the warehouse, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
- Ensure that all warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with safety, quality, and efficiency standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular physical inventory counts.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the efficiency and effectiveness of warehouse operations.
- Prepare and present regular reports on warehouse performance, inventory status, and other relevant metrics to senior management.
- Lead, motivate, and manage a team of warehouse staff, including hiring, training, and performance evaluation.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment to enhance team productivity and morale.
Job requirements:
- Minimun a Diploma in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in warehouse management or a similar role.
- Must be able to speak and understand Japanese due to job nature (liaise with clients and management)
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
- Good understanding of inventory control and logistics principles.
