Role Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized Operations Manager to join our team and oversee various aspects of our salon operations. As the Operations Manager, you will play a key role in ensuring the smooth and efficient functioning of our business, encompassing marketing, administrative tasks, customer service, and appointment scheduling, and nail services.

Specific Responsibilities:

1. Trainee will have an overview of salon operations, goals, and expectations. Introduction to salon management software, basic bookkeeping, and inventory management. Fundamentals of excellent customer service, including greeting clients and handling inquiries.

Trainee will have a training on scheduling, confirming appointments, and handling client communications. Observe a skilled manicurist to understand the basics of nail care and client interaction.

2. Trainee to have a detailed training on financial management, including budgeting and financial reporting. Efficient stock control and ordering procedures. Advanced training on handling complaints, difficult clients, and providing personalized service. Implementing efficient scheduling practices, dealing with no-shows and last-minute changes. Training on effective client interaction and handling complaints.

3. Trainee will be introduced to manicures and pedicures, including hygiene practices. Hands-on practice under supervision to develop basic skills. Continued hands-on practice to improve confidence and technique.

4. Trainee to learn techniques for ensuring client comfort and satisfaction during nail services. Basics of providing excellent customer service during treatments.

5. Trainee will learn intermediate nail care such as nail art, advanced techniques in manicures and pedicures. Supervised practice to improve technique and speed. Strategies for building long-term relationships with clients, including follow-ups and personalized services. Streamlining processes, optimizing appointment schedules, and reducing downtime.

6. Trainee will learn the fundamentals of social media marketing and promotional strategies. Develop a comprehensive marketing plan, creating content calendars, and understanding analytics. Create and schedule social media posts, design promotional materials.

7. Trainee to develop loyalty programs and referral incentives to retain clients. Implementing feedback from clients to improve services and marketing efforts.

8. Trainee will have a comprehensive review and practice of all skills learned, both administrative and technical. Handling mock scenarios to prepare for real-life challenges. Techniques for exceeding client expectations and creating a premium service experience. Managing all aspects of the salon independently with minimal supervision. Conduct a self-evaluation and receive feedback from supervisors to identify areas for ongoing improvement.
