Project Manager (Customer facing, IT Aviation)
(1-year contract under GMP)
Responsibilities
- Support Sales and bid teams during the pre-contract phases (qualification, proposal and contract) with inputs to BAB process as required ensuring that the offers and contracts are realistic and achievable in delivery from a scope, budget, quality, feasibility and time standpoint
- Manage the successful delivery of customer facing and deliver the agreed scope to quality on time, on budget and to customer expectations.
- Generate and manage the project plan (milestones), resource plan (people), budget and risk register (identify, analyze and quantify) and interlock with partners/resource pool owners
- Manage 3rd-party suppliers, both internal and external, to secure the delivery targets. Produce regular and accurate progress reports and present the project status at the Project Review Board meetings.
- Generate Change Requests as required and obtain appropriate customer and internal approvals, in line with project governance standards and ensure all project meetings are documented to reduce miscommunication risk and ensure traceability of decisions
Requirement
- 5 years or more in Project Management having managed with a proven Project Management methodology one or more 'standard' projects with full budget responsibility in a commercial environment
- 3 years in IT solutions provider environment with knowledge of aviation / airport industry products and underlying technologies
- Experience in ITIL processes, with PMP Certified will be an advantage
- Projects/customers will be from Middle East and Africa, candidate should be flexible to support that time zone for customer / project meetings

- Working location: Loyang. Must be open to traveling (oversea) for project kick-off (1 to 2 days trip / monthly)
