The Technical Superintendent is responsible for the technical operations of assigned oil tankers.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure vessels meet technical standards and performance requirements.
- Keep all vessel certificates and documents updated and systematically stored.
- Implement and oversee the Company’s planned maintenance system.
- Arrange and manage class, statutory, and other required vessel surveys.
- Prepare, manage, and monitor dry-dockings and other repair and maintenance jobs.
- Evaluate and promote the performance of vessel crews.
- Prepare and manage the technical budget for vessels.
- Handle additional tasks as assigned.
Requirements:
- Seagoing experience as a Chief Engineer or Second Engineer on tankers (at least CoC Class 2 or 3) or at least 2 years of experience as a Technical Superintendent for oil and bunker tankers.
- Strong integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent leadership, teamwork, and communication skills
