Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate with internal teams, external vendors, and subcontractors to ensure smooth execution of project deliverables.
- Support the development of project plans, timelines, and budgets in collaboration with the project manager.
- Assist in the procurement of necessary resources, materials, and services required for project implementation.
- Manage logistical arrangements such as venue booking, transportation, accommodation, and catering for events.
- Support marketing and promotional activities to maximize event participation and attendance.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to understand project requirements, provide updates, and address any concerns or issues.
- Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies to ensure successful outcomes.
- Prepare and maintain project documentation, reports, and records accurately.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of processes and procedures to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements:
- Diploma in Event Management, Marketing, Business Administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in project management, preferably in the events industry.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on quality and accuracy in work output.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic work environment.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite and project management tools.
- Knowledge of event management software and technologies is a plus.
- Willingness to work flexible hours and travel as required for project assignments.
