Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join a leading banking institution. As an IT Project Manager, you will be responsible for managing IT application projects within the organization. Your expertise in project management, business analysis, and knowledge of wholesale banking products and processes will be crucial to the success of our initiatives.
Mandatory Skillset
- 9-12 years of experience in directly managing IT application projects.
- At least 8 years of experience in project management and business analysis within the Wholesale Bankingenvironment.
- Good knowledge of Wholesale banking product and processes, financial market, and Treasury.
- Proven track record in delivering and managing complex banking projects using agile methodology.
- Ability to collaborate with external vendors and work across diversified teams.
- Process-driven with a strong focus on reporting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Support business users during process changes when new systems are implemented.
- Strong analytical, organizational, and product management skills.
- PMP or Scrum Certified.
Responsibilities
- Initiate, set up, and structure initiatives and projects related to people, process, and technology.
- Engage in project conceptualization, define project scope, and provide business solutions.
- Prepare and manage work plans, schedules, project estimates/budgets, resource plans, and status reports.
- Monitor progress and delivery of change initiatives and project delivery in Asia.
- Ensure timely project delivery with high quality.
- Liaise with other change managers within Asia and Head office for alignment and updates on roadmap and projects.
- Manage scope changes, identify risks and issues, and facilitate resolution, mitigation, and prioritization.
- Provide regular project status updates to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to schedule and standards by team members and vendors throughout the project cycle.
- Collaborate with global and cross-functional business and technology partners to address current and future business needs.
