Responsibilities
· Proving technical support to bid team on pre bid activities as and when required
· During the project execution, be a leader for design/ engineering related activities, attending customer/supplier meetings and assist in getting the approval of engineering documents from customer.
· Planning and scheduling the T&C activities defining the pre-requisites and the priorities complying with project tools, stakeholders’ requirements and project constraints of timing and location.
· Ensuring all the design related documents for projects are available and in line with project specifications, applicable standards, local government rules and regulations.
· Preparation of Method statements, Inspection and Test Plan (ITP) for testing and commissioning activities
· Support for installation activities.
· Providing a pivotal on site coordinating, communicating and interfacing role amongst many stakeholders involved in the project for tests preparation, execution and finalization.
· Manage subcontractors to execute the test procedures as planned.
· Prepare test reports and submit to customer for their acceptance.
· Coordinating, analyzing and reporting T&C data and certificates drawn from project teams, vendors and suppliers following the specific processes for approval and certification.
· Providing a pivotal coordinating and communicating role amongst different project teams especially the site teams.
· Following up the different stages of T&C such as type test, factory acceptance test, site acceptance test and site integration tests.
· Following up T&C punch list.
· Leading the production of the T&C documentation.
· Site inspection for the "readiness reviews" prior to the systems tests; follow-up the corrective actions mandatory before the systems tests start.
· Chair the T&C site Meeting to review requirements for T&C activities.
· Mentoring and providing training to the junior staff
· Abide to the Environmental, Safety and Health regulations (Internal & External)
Qualifications
· Diploma or degree with min. 5 years of relevant engineering, testing and commissioning work experience
· Good engineering/ testing & commissioning knowledge on electrical, instrumentation, signal and communication inspection and testing
· Good knowledge on interpretation of electrical and instrumentation drawings
· Good interpersonal, analytical and problem-solving skill
· Able to work independently
· Good oral and written communication skills
· Good Microsoft office knowledge and skills
