Overview of the Role:
- Conduct accurate test analysis in accordance with test methods for the approval and rejection of finished products.
Purpose of the Role:
- Inspect and perform test analysis on finished products to support the batch approval and rejection process.
- Record results of test analysis following site QA good documentation practices.
- Perform test analysis on non-routine samples such as retests, customer complaints, or rejects.
- Prepare chemical reagents used in the lab and maintain proper housekeeping, including washing glassware and cleaning work areas and equipment.
- Monitor and record the inventory levels of chemicals and glassware and inform the QC Manager for replenishment.
- Coordinate and send samples to external labs for additional testing (e.g., microbial analysis, heavy metals).
- Undertake ad-hoc projects related to shelf-life studies and statistical tests, typically lasting 3-4 months.
- Complete assigned tasks according to site QSHE requirements with minimal supervision.
- Conduct laboratory investigations when out-of-spec results are obtained.
- Communicate any abnormalities to the Quality Manager as appropriate.
- Cover duties of colleagues in their absence.
