Role Overview
The successful candidate will support the APAC Head of Brokerage Management and be responsible for the delivery of Business As Usual (BAU) activities, developing Subject Matter Expertise, Service coverage will include:
Front to back BAU stewardship responsibilities in brokerage agreement and operational data management, ensuring the maintenance in integrity of client operational data and brokerage agreements. Lead regional infrastructural projects, representing Ops in such working groups. Support the team manager and wider team colleagues in projects and various change initiatives and process enhancements. Work and support APAC Operational Risk and where delegated with wider teams on matters related to Operational Risk.
As extended responsibilities, he will also support cross functional Operations divisions for change implementations on process workflow efficiency and automation or strategic project initiatives
Job Responsibilities
- Execution of Client and Operational Data and front to back brokerage agreement for all TP ICAP APAC clients stewardship responsibilities on a daily basis
- Maintaining high quality, clean data by adhering to a strict governance and controls framework
- Provide business brokerage analysis reports for brokerage rate negotiation with customers
- Liaise closely with the front office and back office to provide accurate rates and product list for all the brokerage agreements
- Work closely with front and back stakeholders on all matters related to brokerage and client data, including brokerage investigation to resolve any debt collection issues.
- To support the Team Manager by driving system integration projects as well as cross-training team members on multi-branded processes/services
- Support cross functional Operations divisions for change implementations on process workflow efficiency and automation or strategic project initiatives
- To support the Team Manager by providing SME support to the Ops team as well as wider teams in the company
- Designing and implementing process excellence within Operations using automation tools to mitigate operational risk and time savings.
- Where delegated responsibility by the Team Manager; to act as a liaison to, and provide support for, any internal or external audits.
- Collaboration with IT on delivery of Operations sponsored enhancements and IT technical developments, including requirements gathering, UAT and post-release support.
- To fulfil any additional/ad-hoc duties as required to meet the needs of the business.
Experience/ Competences
Essential
- MS Office - Intermediate skills in MS Excel, MS Word and PowerPoint
- Coding and advance Macro skills
- Demonstrable experience/ knowledge of data-oriented processes, across multiple sources and systems.
- Experience of operational workflows and how data is used and maintained through the trade lifecycle.
- A broad base of operations knowledge and experience.
- Sound knowledge of the financial markets and financial regulation affecting client lifecycle management.
