We are seeking a talented Cloud Engineer to join the Global Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) team. This mid-level role focuses on enhancing cloud-based solutions on Microsoft Azure, driving automation, and ensuring the robustness of our systems to support global operations.
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement scalable, reliable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on Azure and Kubernetes
- Collaborate with development teams to integrate and automate cloud-based systems
- Maintain and manage cloud environments, ensuring smooth deployments and operations
- Monitor systems for performance and availability, implementing disaster recovery strategies
- Develop tools and processes to optimize operational efficiency
- Provide expert-level support and participate in on-call rotations for critical systems
Technical Environment:
- Cloud services and tools: Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform, Azure API Management, Azure Monitor
- Blockchain technologies, microservices, and database systems (PostgreSQL, Cosmos DB, ElasticSearch, Kafka)
- Cloud security tools (Microsoft Defender, Fortigate Firewall) and best practices
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Minimum 3 years' experience in cloud engineering, particularly with Microsoft Azure
- Strong understanding of Kubernetes, containerization, and serverless technologies
- Proficiency in automation with Terraform and scripting in Bash or Ansible
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools (Grafana, Prometheus, Opsgenie, Loki)
- Familiarity with industry best practices and standards for cloud security (CIS, ISO 27001, NIST 800-53, or PCI DSS)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to handle multiple priorities
