<Job Descriptions>
1. Coordination within Branch and Headquarters: Facilitate smooth communication and coordination between various departments within the branch and the Japan HQ. Demonstrate strong relationship-building and coordination skills with diverse stakeholders.
2. Financial Preparation and Reporting to Relevant Authorities: Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and management in accordance with the standards required by Japanese financial institutions. Examine financial data and prepare reports. This role requires knowledge of ship finance, which is a significant part of the branch's business.
3. Internal Management: Oversee and ensure the sound functioning of internal management areas, including legal compliance, market risk management, credit risk management, internal audit, finance, accounting, and taxation.
4. IT System Management (IT Support and Development): Manage and support the IT systems within the branch by working closely with professional IT team/vendor
5. Human Resources and General Affairs: Coordinate with various departments, manage employee payroll and benefits, oversee general affairs, and support efficient organizational operation and administration.
<Job Requirements>
1. At least 15 years of corporate business experience in a financial institution. Successful candidate is expected to be in the financial industry within the last 5 years.
2. At least 10 years of experience in corporate finance within a financial institution.
3. At least 5 years of practical experience in ship finance. The successful candidate is expected to have comprehensive experience in ship finance, with a focus on credit assessment. Sales experience in ship finance would be an added advantage
4. Experience in internal management covering market-related (Treasury) risks and compliance, as well as credit risk, internal audit, finance, accounting, and taxation within a financial institution, or possessing relevant qualifications.
5. At least 5 years of experience leading a team of 3-5 members at the position of Assistant Manager or higher.
6. Understanding of the standards required by Japanese financial institutions to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting and management in accordance with these standards.
