About IPAS

The Insolvency Practitioners Association of Singapore (IPAS) is the premier professional body for insolvency professionals in Singapore. To that end, we set standards for the insolvency profession through academic and continuing professional development programmes. We further seek to advance the status and interest of insolvency professionals through engagement with regulators, judges from the insolvency docket and other professional organizations. We also strive to build and foster a strong community of practitioners through both formal and informal networking opportunities.


About the Role

IPAS is in search of a temporary Senior Executive/Executive to support the Executive Director and team in managing a digitalisation project for membership and events management and supporting the running of the courses, programmes and events organized by IPAS. The role will be required for 9 months and is expected to commence from Aug 2024. The job may be performed on 3 to 4 weekdays (average 6 hours/day) a week, or half a day (average 4 hours/day) from Monday to Friday. Pending establishment of a permanent office, this position will work from home except where physical attendance is required.


Duties & Responsibilities

  • Support team in managing project to digitalise membership and events management, including participating in user acceptance tests, coordinating with various stakeholders and tracking progress of the project
  • Create and manage Eventbrite sites for IPAS events/programmes and track/report on the participation.
  • Design event/course/programme EDMs/banners.
  • Create post-event/programme surveys on Google Forms and collate the feedback.
  • Support webinars or on-site events such as the Singapore Insolvency Conference to be held in Oct 2024.


Profile/Requirements

  • Pro-active, self-motivated, conscientious and a team player.
  • Good time management – able to multi-task and deliver assigned tasks within timelines.
  • Meticulous and strong attention to details.
  • IT savvy – familiar with IT terminology and experienced in using Eventbrite, Canva, Outlook and Google Forms.
  • Experience in managing a project and/or organizing or supporting events/programmes preferred.
  • Able to occasionally work during non-office hours and weekends as required, e.g., attend an external meeting or support an event on-site occasionally.


Qualifications

  • Diploma or equivalent.
  • 1 to 3 years of relevant work experience.
