Job Description:

If you are on the lookout to expand your nursing skills and knowledge within in a Public Service setting, we would like to hear from you.
We are looking for driven individuals to be part of HSA’s Blood Resources Division- Blood bank team, where you will play a key role in securing the nations’ blood supply. In this front-facing role, the individuals will perform essential blood collection duties in a dynamic and close-knit team.
Responsibilities:
- Assist in managing the operations of blood donation programme
- Provide blood donation nursing care, perform donor phlebotomy
- Assist in the management of blood donor complications within set standard operating procedures to ensure the safety of the national blood supply
Requirements:
- Minimum ITE certificate for Enrolled Nurses (Nurse must have a valid registration certificate with Singapore Nursing Board)
- Fresh NITEC nursing graduates are welcome to apply
- The appointee will be required to perform shift duties in various sites and mobile drives
The working arrangement will be based on a 5-day work week, including weekends. The appointee will be required to perform morning, afternoon and weekend shifts as rostered. Not required to perform night shift.
Team members will be rostered to support morning, afternoon and weekend shifts, across a 5-day work week and are not required to perform night shift.
Our Blood banks operate 6 days a week*, between 9am – 8pm*
