Responsibilities
- Responsible for all air/sea import/export operations
- Overall planning and organizing of the daily air and ocean export cargo
- Coordinate with customers, overseas agents, co-loaders and contractors
- Play the role of the inside sales to handle customer's enquiries and quotations
- Ensuring that the SG customer service and operational warehouse processes meet the set SOP and always aim to be in the best in class in the aviation industry
- Identifies training needs and opportunities to develop a highly skilled functional department
- Good management of the warehouse process and ensuring both operational teams (Ops/CS and warehouse) are aligned
- Set clear objectives, directly linked to the business strategy and guide the team to achieve company targets and performance standards
- Ensure that all processes meets the statutory requirements of the Aviation industry
Requirements
- At least 5 years of supervisory experience, added advantage if incumbent has previous exposure in the freight and logistics sector
- Diploma in logistics or freight related discipline
- Effective interpersonal skills, including effective communication
- At least 2 years exposure in the freight and logistics sector
- Good knowledge for Air Export business especially on documentation and customs clearance
- Possess high initiative with good interpersonal, verbal and written communication skills in English
- High attention to detail
- Added advantage if the incumbent has both air and sea freight forwarding experience
