Responsibilities
- To develop the overall local operational strategy and direction for Warehouse/ Air / Sea Freight Forwarding teams in accordance and alignment with the Company’s strategy.
- Plan on key decisions pertaining to the day-to-day activities for the Air/ Sea Warehouse department, consulting with senior management when necessary.
- To develop/ enhance current eCommerce logistics operational strategy.
- Initiate, manage and implement new project for eCommerce accounts, logistics and transportation network optimization
- Design solutions and work closely with Customer Services team
- Review and implement the eCommerce business to align with company's direction
- Working closely with various partners in Asia in developing the supply chain solution globally for eCommerce Fulfillment
- Set and follow up SOP, traffic flow, communication with customers and overseas counterparts
- Oversee day-to-day e-fulfillment and parcel operations
- Manage operations team and ensure delivers quality and accuracy result according to SOP
Requirements
- Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics or related disciplines.
- The experience in eCommerce Logistics is an asset.
- Extensive knowledge on Air / Sea freight forwarding, Warehouse Management
- Minimum 5 years’ experience at managerial level in a 3PL
- Ability to work with stakeholders from all parts of the business including top senior management and junior members
- Excellent analytical skills
- Able to cope with fast-pace environment, self-initiative and work independently
- Hands-on knowledge in WMS, eCommerce marketplaces and fulfillment software would be an advantage
- Good command of both spoken & written communications
