Job Responsibilities:
- Understand, prepare, and handle a full set of accounts for overseas subsidiaries, in accordance with statutory requirements and financial accounting regulations.
- Assist in overseas finance operations.
- Ensure month-end and year-closing are completed and submitted on a timely basis.
- Execute and audit the accounting, account processing, and financial statement preparation, financial information submission of the overseas subsidiaries.
- Preparing forecasting and budgeting exercise as per corporate guidelines
- Liaise with Auditors to ensure appropriate documentation and monitoring of internal controls.
- Liaise with overseas accounting and professional firms to ensure tax (income tax, VAT, withholding tax etc.) and statutory compliance are done promptly.
- Take charge of the organization's financial planning, transactional, and analysis.
- Identify and resolve all finance-related issues and escalate to management when necessary.
- Monthly reporting to management on revenue, expenditures, and company budgets.
- Perform any other general accounting duties as assigned.
- Ensure timely achievement of KPIs
- Ad hoc task as and when required by the Management
Job Requirements:
- Degree in Accounting, Finance, CPA, ACCA, or equivalent is highly desirable.
- At least 5 years of relevant experience in a similar capacity, and experience in setting up and managing overseas subsidiaries and branches is preferred.
- Ability to generate function reports for management review.
- Accuracy and attention to detail
- Possess good communication and interpersonal skills to communicate with colleagues and management.
- Proficient in MS Office
- Able to work independently.
- Able to complete tasks in a timely manner and to meet timeline
