The main responsibilities and tasks of this position are listed as, but not limited to the following:
- Welcome guests professionally and demonstrate a warm, confident, and genuine first impression.
- Show guests to the room and assist them with their luggage while giving guest information about the hotel, its features as well as general information about the local area and direction to the train station.
- Provide a detailed room orientation for arriving guests.
- Make sure airline luggage tags are removed and disposed of before sending luggage’s to guest rooms.
- Assist guests on Kiosk’s check in and out. Direct guest to Reception if guest encounter any challenge when using the Kiosk.
- Provide updated information about the hotel facilities and F&B outlets.
- Assist guests with their transportation needs and recommend the use of hotel facilities whenever possible.
- Ensure proper recording of all departure luggage that is stored in the baggage room.
- To assist Doorman at front driveway when it’s busy.
- To keep a look out in the lobby for guests who may require any assistance.
- Ensure the lobby area and baggage room are always clean.
- Ensure luggage trolleys are well maintained and accounted for.
- To monitor the printer at the counter.
- To attend daily briefing session before the start of every shift.
- To perform any other duties that may be assigned by the Management.
