The ideal candidate will be responsible to achieve smooth and efficient operations / post fixture activities for all our vessels
Job Description :
- Responsible for end to end Post fixture for all our Time chartered vessels from the pre fixture stage till voyage completion
- Overlooking all running operational matters for the managed vessel
- To work per the terms and conditions of the agreed contracts and to ensure compliance of all requirements
- Ensure voyage P&L accuracy, providing input for payment due to Owners and receivable from Charterers
- To issue voyage instruction to vessel master in accordance to the governing CP
- To appoint agents / weather routing services / order bunkers / appointing surveyors
- To check all shipping documents such as pre-stowage plan, B/L,LOI’s
- Handle claims in coordination with legal/P&I / lawyers
- Handling freight invoice, demurrage/despatch, laytime hire payment and port disbursement accounts and so on
- Communication with vessel’s masters, owners/charterers or brokers, ports agent
- Monitoring vessel’s movement and performance and report to related parties and any dispute against counterparty such as cargo damage or shortage, lay-time, underperformance and so on, to communicate for settlement based on charterparty
Requirement :
- Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, Maritime Studies or equivalent
- 3-5 years of working experience in the field of dry-bulk vessel operation or chartering
- To comprehend maritime terms and to be able to arrange everything for the accomplishment of the voyage independently
- Prior experience in dry bulk will be a distinct advantage
- Experience in both TC and VC
- Well experienced in handling vessels operations
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Good negotiation and problem-solving skills
- Good team player
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
