Job responsibilities:
- Review and upkeep the Safety Management System, Safe Work Procedure and Risk Assessment.
- Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams
- Work closely with different teams to plan, implement and maintain effective WSHE related work plans.
- Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams
- Conduct investigations of WSH infringements and industrial accidents and recommend remedial actions. to prevent recurrence.
- Responsible for all incidents reporting, investigation and propose corrective actions
- Facilitate and conduct internal auditing, to ensure compliance with ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001 standards, GGB, ConSASS and Bizsafe.
- Identify areas for improvement and monitor implementation progress of recommended measures via site inspections and engagement with different work teams
- Liaise with all relevant authorities on all WSH issues.
- Any other duties that may be assigned.
Requirements:
- Registered WSHO & ECO Officer
- 5-8 years of relevant working experience in construction industry
- own transport an added advantage
