The Nanyang Technological University School of Materials Science and Engineering (NTU MSE) is looking for a highly motivated and experienced candidate to join us as Research Fellow (RF).
Key Responsibilities:
- Synthesize catalysts used for high temperature/pressure gas-phase reactions
- Develop complex operando measurement platforms for catalytic reaction
- Explore novel reaction route for target products
- Develop high-throughput reactors to screen catalysts for target reactions
- Helping the PI with supervising students, TA task etc.
Job Requirements:
- PhD in Materials, Chemistry, Physics, Chemical Engineering or any relevant science and engineering disciplines
- Experience in materials synthesis/characterizations, gas-phase catalysis and/or theoretical calculations
- A strong track record of research ability and demonstrated contribution to research
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Self-motivated independent scientist and a team player
