The Role is a research centric role looking at pushing boundaries of next generation energy storage device.
Key Responsibilities:
- Novel ways of materials synthesis and characterization for advanced batteries
- Fabrication, characterization and optimization of batteries in new form factors
- Precipitation, characterization and purity analysis of products by various characterization techniques
- Carry out optimization of the equipment and SOP of various processes for batteries fabrication.
- Prototyping activities including proof of concept demonstration of successful processes.
- Responsible for project goals, deliverables, and objectives of the company project
- Preparing and delivering Meeting presentations, notes, updates, and reports as per the request of the project
- Lab responsibility and safety standards
Job Requirements:
- Candidate must possess at least a Master’s Degree in Engineering /Science (Materials/Chemical/Mechanical/Nanotechnology/Physics/Chemistry or equivalent)
- Experience in extraction methods of metals from batteries
- Experience in prototyping of batteries and working with various battery systems.
- Widely experience in various materials synthesis techniques
- Experienced in materials characterization, electrochemical battery fabrication
- Ability to conceptualize and communicate research work to other staff, management, and visitors
- Knowledge of scientific or materials engineering software will be an added advantage.
- Prior experience in the field of research is an added advantage
- An effective team player with good communication & interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a team as well as independently.
