We are seeking a skilled Civil Engineer to join our construction team. As a Civil Engineer specializing in building construction, you will play a crucial role in overseeing the planning, design, and execution of various building projects. Your responsibilities will include ensuring projects adhere to local regulations, maintaining quality standards, and coordinating with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to deliver successful outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage all stages of building construction projects from planning to completion.
- Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to gather necessary information.
- Develop detailed designs and specifications for building projects.
- Prepare and analyze cost estimates, budgets, and construction schedules.
- Coordinate and collaborate with architects, contractors, subcontractors, and other professionals involved in the project.
- Ensure compliance with building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Oversee the procurement of materials and equipment needed for construction.
- Monitor progress and performance on-site, resolving any issues that arise promptly.
- Conduct quality control checks to ensure workmanship meets standards and specifications.
- Prepare progress reports, documentation, and technical reports as required.
Requirements:
- Min Diploma/ Degree in Engineering (Civil)
- Min 2 - 5 years of experience in Civil Engineering / Structural Works.
- Proven experience in building construction projects, with a strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and equipment.
- Proficiency in CAD software and other relevant engineering software.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- Knowledge of relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards.
- Ability to adhere to schedule and keep proper records.
