Responsibilities:
- Design, configure, deploy, and maintain Windows Server (2019, 2022) and Linux (RHEL, SUSE) environments, including server hardening.
- Lead cross-functional teams to implement server hardware, virtualization (VMware vSphere, Hyper-V, KVM), and storage solutions for scalability and availability.
- Design and manage Storage Area Networks (SAN/NAS) to ensure data integrity and performance.
- Implement security best practices and ensure compliance with industry standards, including encryption and key management.
- Administer Active Directory, manage user accounts, group policies, and security settings.
- Implement monitoring (eG Innovations, PRTG, Splunk) and backup solutions (Veeam, Acronis) for system maintenance and data recovery.
- Develop automation tools for IT infrastructure optimization and proactive system monitoring.
- Investigate and resolve complex technical issues related to Windows Server systems in collaboration with teams and vendors.
- Conduct capacity planning and maintain SLA standards, acting as an escalation point for incidents.
- Coordinate with vendors for effective service delivery and update operational documentation and procedural guidelines.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in IT infrastructure engineering, focusing on Windows Server administration.
- Proficiency in VMware, Microsoft server products, Active Directory, and virtualization technologies.
- Strong scripting and troubleshooting skills.
- Relevant certifications such as MCSA, MCSE, or VCP are advantageous.
