Role Summary:
As an Accounts Executive at Rhea, you will play a pivotal role in the financial operations of our modern fertility services platform. Operating within a dynamic and innovative environment, you will handle full sets of accounts, ensuring the accuracy and completeness of GL and AP functions. Your responsibilities include timely month-end and year-end closing, preparation of monthly financials and management reports, maintenance of fixed asset and balance sheet schedules, and general finance operations.

- Handle full sets of accounts:
- Own General Ledger (GL) and Accounts Payable (AP) functions to ensure accuracy and completeness of holding companies and/or new entities as the business expands
- Execute day-to-day financial transactions and maintain organised records including vendor related matters (e.g., payments, contracts) with vendors and internal stakeholders (e.g., expense reimbursements)
- Support finance operational needs of the subsidiaries
- Ensure timely month-end and year-end closing:
- Drive timely and accurate month-end and year-end closing procedures by collaborating with cross-functional teams to gather necessary financial data for reporting
- Prepare monthly management reports for internal reporting
- Prepare fluctuation analysis for material fluctuations in Profit or Loss and Balance Sheet
- Manage and maintain fixed asset and balance sheet schedules
- Conduct periodic reviews to ensure accuracy and compliance with accounting standards and internal accounting/finance policies
- Liase with external parties, auditors, banks, etc.:
- Collaborate with external parties and banks to facilitate smooth financial operations
- Respond to queries and provide necessary documentation for audits
- Ensure timely and accurate submission of Goods and Services Tax (GST) filings
- Stay updated on changes in tax regulations that may impact the company
- Other ad-hoc assignments/HR ops:
- Oversee the administration of payroll and staff records, employee benefits, and leave management processes with external payroll vendor
- Coordinate the issuance and management of work devices, such as laptops, subscriptions, email logins, and other access
- Disseminate and enforce finance policies such as business travel and expense (T&E) to newly joined employees
- Prior experience on HR Ops Scope is not required, however candidates are expected to learn on the job and be responsible for this workstream

Job Requirements:
- Diploma in Accountancy (or equivalent)
- 3 - 5 years relevant working experience
- Knowledge of Netsuite (ERP system) is preferred
- Prior experience relating to Chinese financial statements and working with counterparts in China preferred but not essential
