Alongside scientists, businesses, and policymakers, GFI’s teams focus on making plant-based, fermentation-enabled, and cultivated proteins delicious, affordable, and accessible. Powered by philanthropy, we are advancing alternative proteins as an essential solution needed to meet the world’s climate, global health, food security, and biodiversity goals.

  • Proactively engage organisers of high-value conferences and live events on behalf of the GFI APAC team to ensure that our programmatic experts can maximise their outreach to target stakeholder audiences, and work with our experts to develop their slide decks and other presentation materials.
  • Manage GFI APAC’s internal resources, including but not limited to photo archives, SOPs, and shared drives, talking points, website updates.
  • Deliver presentations about our Communications team’s work and thought-leadership strategies to external and internal audiences as needed.
  • Compile all internal weekly, monthly, cyclical, and one-off reports, in collaboration with the Managing Director, to ensure that GFI’s global leadership, as well as donors and specific external partners are informed of regional progress and challenges.
  • Provide strategic guidance on GFI APAC’s content creation, distribution, and marketing strategies across digital platforms, including our website, blog, e-newsletters, and social media.
  • Work with our Senior Writer to build and manage media relationships that could help drive the public conversation about alternative proteins.
  • Support GFI’s international affiliates by providing APAC-specific inputs and insights.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
