Responsibilities:
- Liaise with stakeholders to identify and define project requirements, scope and objectives.
- Coordinate project management activities, resources, equipment and information.
- Support project implementation and handles operational issues in Infrastructure and Data Center setup.
- Maintain and monitor project plans, project schedules, project deadline, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Organize, prepare necessary presentation materials, attend and participate in stakeholder meetings.
- Document and follow up on important actions and decisions derived from meetings.
- Perform detailed investigation on failures and recommend solutions to user departments and / or management to prevent fault reoccurrences.
- Conduct applied research, source, identify and implement new technologies to rail performance in terms of reliability, availability.
- Provide regular reporting of all projects to the management.
- Provide technical / engineering / project support and consultation to the Engineering and Operations Departments.
- Any other tasks as assigned by superior(s).
Requirements:
- Masters / Bachelor Degree in Science or Engineering.
- 5 years or more post-graduate work experience will be of added advantage.
- Applicants with more years of relevant experience coupled with leadership skills may be considered for Assistant Manager / Managerial role instead.
- Up to date on latest technologies and well-versed in computer hardware or / and software applications.
- Strong problem-solving skills with a keen interest in research and experimentation.
- Strong planning, organisation, interpersonal and communication skills.
- Independent, resourceful, self-motivated and results-oriented.
- Able to identify colours in the course of work.
- Incumbent will be required to commute between 2 rail depots.
