Summary
Our client leading European Construction Company has vacancies for Construction Engineers based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
· Coordinate and oversee construction projects from inception to completion, ensuring adherence to schedules, budgets, and quality standards.
· Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams and subcontractors on construction methods, materials, and techniques.
· Ensure compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations on all construction sites, promoting a culture of safety and risk mitigation.
· Implement quality control measures and inspections to maintain high standards of workmanship and construction integrity.
· Monitor project budgets and expenditures, identifying cost-saving opportunities and managing financial aspects of projects.
· Administer contracts, review contractual obligations, and manage subcontractor relationships to ensure contractual compliance and resolve disputes.
· Prepare and present regular progress reports to stakeholders, including senior management, highlighting milestones, challenges, and corrective actions.
· Lead and motivate project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment to achieve project goals effectively.
· Collaborate with design teams and consultants to review and incorporate design changes and ensure constructability.
· Identify and resolve technical issues and challenges that arise during construction, implementing effective solutions to minimize delays and disruptions.
Requirements:
· Min Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or postgraduate degree preferred.
· Min 3- 5 years of experience in construction management, with a proven track record in overseeing complex civil or building projects in healthcare.
· Sound understanding of local and international building codes, safety regulations, and environmental standards.
· Willing to relocate for the duration of project.
