A new and exciting ICT Security Specialist (12 months contract) position for a large financial services company in Singapore. Looking for someone with a good understanding of investments and asset classes.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough cyber risk assessments and audits of information systems, network infrastructures, and data centers.
- Identify vulnerabilities and threats to the organization's IT assets, focusing on data center security.
- Perform penetration testing and vulnerability scanning.
- Develop and implement comprehensive IT security strategies and policies for data centers and infrastructure projects.
- Recommend and deploy security solutions such as firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, and encryption technologies.
- Advise on best practices for data protection and cybersecurity within data centers.
- Develop and maintain incident response plans tailored to data center environments.
- Investigate and respond to security breaches and incidents in data centers and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct root cause analysis and develop remediation plans.
- Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations, and standards (e.g., GDPR, ISO 27001, NIST) within data centers and infrastructure projects.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage risk mitigation plans specific to data center operations.
- Prepare and present reports on security status and incidents to management.
Responsibilities:
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field.
- A master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CISSP, CISM, CEH) is preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT security or a related field
- Proficiency with security technologies such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, SIEM, DLP, and endpoint protection.
- Strong knowledge of network protocols, operating systems, and cloud security.
- Experience with security frameworks and standards (e.g., ISO 27001, NIST).
