Job Summary:
The Floor Manager is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of the bar floor, ensuring excellent customer service, maintaining a pleasant environment for patrons, and supporting staff in delivering a high-quality experience. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, have a keen eye for detail, and be able to handle the fast-paced environment of a bar.
Key Responsibilities:
● Supervision: Oversee and manage all floor staff, including bartenders, servers ensuring they perform their duties effectively and efficiently.
● Customer Service: Ensure that all customers are receiving excellent service and address any issues or complaints promptly and professionally.
● Staff Scheduling: Assist in creating and managing staff schedules via e schedule to ensure adequate coverage during peak hours and events.
● Training: Provide ongoing training and support to floor staff to maintain high service standards and compliance with bar policies.
● Inventory Management: Monitor and manage inventory levels of beverages and supplies, placing orders as needed to maintain stock.
● Health and Safety: Ensure that the bar complies with health and safety regulations and that staff adheres to these standards.
● Event Coordination: Assist in planning and coordinating special events, promotions, and private parties.
● Financial Responsibilities: Assist in managing the floor's budget, including labor costs and inventory expenses, and contribute to achieving financial targets.
● Cleanliness: Ensure that the bar floor is clean, organized, and presentable at all times.
● Conflict Resolution: Address and resolve conflicts or issues among staff and patrons in a fair and timely manner.
● Reporting: Prepare and present regular reports on floor operations, including sales, customer feedback, and staff performance to the Bar Manager.

Qualifications:
● Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in a supervisory role within the hospitality industry, preferably in a bar or restaurant setting.
● Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, excellent customer service skills, and the ability to manage a team effectively.
● Knowledge: Familiarity with bar operations, inventory management, and health and safety regulations.
● Education: Diploma or equivalent; additional certifications in hospitality management or related fields are a plus.
● Physical Requirements: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and work in a fast-paced environment.
● Personal Attributes: Energetic, personable, and able to work well under pressure.
