Responsibilities
• Ensure continuous monitoring, support, and maintenance of IT infrastructure.
• Monitoring and Support: Continuously monitor the performance and availability of all IT systems, including servers, networks, and applications. Provide first-level support and troubleshooting for any issues that arise.
• Incident Management: Respond to and resolve IT incidents promptly, following established procedures and escalation protocols. Document all incidents and resolutions in the incident management system.
• System Maintenance: Perform regular maintenance tasks, such as software updates, patch management, and system backups, to ensure the integrity and security of IT systems.
• Execute daily operational tasks, such as system health checks, log reviews, and performance monitoring.
• Ensure all scheduled tasks are completed within defined SLAs.
• Maintain clear and effective communication with other IT teams, stakeholders, and end-users. Provide regular updates on the status of ongoing incidents and operational activities.
• Compliance and Security: Adhere to all company policies and regulatory requirements, ensuring IT operations are conducted securely and in compliance with relevant standards.
Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree / Polytechnic Diploma) in Computer Science, Information Technology or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 1 year working experience in IT Infrastructure Operation and/or Support (LAN/WAN/Systems/Cloud)
• Proficiency in operating systems (Windows, Linux), network protocols, VMware and IT infrastructure. Experience with monitoring tools and incident management systems.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills and a passion for information security
