Our client, a well established MNC is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to join their team.
Salary: Basic $2300 to $2600
Work Days: 5 Days (8:30am to 5:30pm)
Work Location: Toh Guan Road East (near Jurong East MRT Station)
Work Terms: Yearly renewal contract with full benefits i.e. AWS & Annual Leaves
Duties:
• Handle daily routine of Accounts Receivable and Accounts Payable functions.
• Review and verify AP invoices, ensuring accurate coding, matching, and timely payment preparation to suppliers.
• Data entry for AR & AP transactions.
• Update Accounts Receivable (AR) aging report and follow up actively on collections.
• Perform monthly reconciliation for AR/AP and costing transactions.
• Handle PO invoice entry & posting.
• Update daily cashbook and do the bank reconciliation.
• Assist on quarterly reporting and year end audit review matters.
• Other ad-hoc duties as assigned from time to time.
Requirements:
• GCE N/O/NITEC/A level/Diploma or relevant certification in Accounting
• 1 to 2 years of accounting working experience on handling AR & AP, with GST knowledge
• Candidates without experience welcome to apply (training will be provided)
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
• Ability to work independently and positive working attitude
• Proficient in using accounting software and MS Office applications
• Able to start work immediately or within a short notice period
