Responsibilities
We’re looking for a well organised and motivated Finance Manager to manage financial performance and to be responsible for operational analysis and reporting of the company.
- Lead the financial management for the company, covering accounting, taxation, transfer pricing, external audits, reporting, and financial control/analysis;
- Spearhead forecasts, assessing overall and financial performance, and driving improvements and changes in processes;
- Oversee all accounting functions ensuring compliance with standards, including AR, AP, GL, etc.;
- Ensure accuracy of monthly recording of accruals, provisions, and special bookings;
- Manage financial data and maintain a robust financial control environment;
- Facilitate payments to both local and international vendors and reconcile inter-company transactions;
- Collaborate closely with sales and support teams on customer-related financial matters;
- Streamline the monthly closing process and enhance internal control mechanisms;
- Act as the primary contact for group auditors, providing necessary data for comprehensive reviews;
- Interface with internal and external stakeholders;
- Manage VAT, Corporate Income Tax, Withholding Tax and other tax-related issues;
- Prepare and submit precise monthly financial reports and analyses, monitoring performance against
forecasts and plans;
- Ensure compliance of all reporting requirements;
- Lead financial analysis and process improvement projects.
Requirements
- Tertiary education in finance, business management or a relevant discipline;
- Experience in handling accounts;
- Experience working with SAP systems;
- Strong understanding of financial and business management principles;
- Strong understanding of local and international accounting and tax regulations;
- Ability to report to senior management and manage their expectations;
- Ability to prioritise and manage business requirements;
- Strong planning & organisational skills, as well as analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills.
