Seagate's Brand Creative team is seeking a recent grad to join our ranks as a Junior Copywriter and Editor.

About the role - you will:
You’re a recent grad and have a natural knack for storytelling. Delighting in capturing the intricate tapestry of ideas and distilling it down to its core essence brings you immense joy. The idea of weaving together diverse details, honing in on pivotal concepts, pitching innovative ideas, and then breathing life into them through campaigns, product launches, events, and beyond fills you with genuine excitement. While you thrive on collaboration and value the input of others, you also recognize the importance of carving out moments for quiet contemplation and dedicated effort. Your approach is strategic, your curiosity insatiable, and above all, you're eager to dive in headfirst and embrace the learning journey ahead.
As a Jr. Copywriter and Editor on the Brand Creative Team, you'll have the opportunity to hone your skills in crafting engaging long-form content while also gaining experience in producing compelling short-form content. About you:
- Develop and execute creative copywriting strategies to communicate brand messaging and key value propositions effectively.
- Write and edit engaging content for various channels, including websites, social media, email campaigns, and print materials.
- Collaborate with marketing, design, and product teams to brainstorm and develop innovative ideas and concepts.
- Ensure all content is accurate, grammatically correct, and aligned with brand guidelines and style standards.
- Conduct thorough research to understand target audience needs, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
- Review and provide feedback on content to maintain consistency and quality.
- Stay updated on emerging trends, best practices, and technologies in copywriting and content marketing.
Your experience includes:
- Bachelor's degree in English, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 1+ years of experience in copywriting and editing, preferably in a marketing or advertising agency environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Suite, and workflow management tools.
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects.
- Strong collaborative skills and effective communication abilities.
- Hands-on experience in a dynamic and collaborative work environment.

Location:
The Shugart site (named after Seagate’s founder, Al Shugart) is a research and design center. Easily accessible from the One-North MRT Station, many employees choose to take mass transportation to work. Being a purpose-built building, The Shugart has excellent employee recreational facilities. Take an active break at our badminton courts, table tennis tables, in-house gym, and recreation rooms. Our yoga and Zumba classes are very popular.
