Regional Principal Manager, SEA (Personal Care & Home care)

About this role:

You will work as the Product Management expert in the Personal Care & Home Care segment for the SEA region, you will play a critical role in aligning our company’s objectives with our Principals’ business strategies. You’ll have the opportunity to shape product strategies, define roadmaps, and drive market implementation plans based on deep customer insights and market trends. Your leadership will be instrumental in fostering long-term partnerships, expanding business opportunities, and optimizing financial outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Alignment: Ensure alignment between Company’s objectives and Principals’ business strategies, driving growth and profitability.
  • Sales & Business Development: Provide comprehensive support across multiple SEA countries, nurturing existing relationships and identifying new business opportunities.
  • Product Strategy: Define strategic direction, roadmap, and feature sets based on deep customer insights and market trends to deliver unique value propositions.
  • Financial Ownership: Challenge, endorse, and manage total budget for Principals, achieving growth, sales, and GP targets.
  • Market Analysis: Conduct thorough market and competitive analyses to shape compelling product visions and strategies.
  • Market Implementation: Develop and execute Principal’s market implementation plans to maximize profitability and market penetration.
  • Strategic Insights: Generate actionable intelligence to guide decision-making and enhance market positioning.
  • Communication & Collaboration: Facilitate transparent and efficient communication within the organization, promoting operational effectiveness.
  • Partnership Management: Strengthen relationships with Principals to foster long-term growth and mutual success.
  • Business Expansion: Identify and pursue opportunities to expand partnerships and mandates with Principals.
  • Sales Support: Address customer needs through strategic product trainings and engagement initiatives, supporting sales teams.
  • Performance Monitoring: Analyze key metrics to optimize business growth and revenue, including product introduction rates and commercialization success.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Collaborate closely with SEA lab personnel on prototype development and organize success-sharing sessions among the sales team.

Supply Chain Coordination:

  • Coordinate with logistics team to ensure smooth operations and optimal inventory levels.
  • Partner with customer service team for accurate forecasting to drive informed decision-making.
  • Lead supplier contract negotiations to optimize terms and ensure cost-effectiveness.

Marketing Coordination:

  • Organize and manage industrial events, trade shows, and webinars to enhance brand visibility and market presence.

About you:

  • You need to possess with a Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering, Chemistry, or related field with min 8 years relevant working experience in the field of Personal care and Home care industries.
  • Proven experience in product management, business development, and strategic planning in the SEA region.
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate market trends into actionable strategies.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities with a track record of building strong partnerships.
