Responsibilities:
- To monitor the SHEQ department daily operations.
- Responsible for the safety, health environment and quality assurance side of the Company.
- To establish, update and maintain Quality Management System or Manuals (ISO and UN certificates).
- Responsible for the Management Review meetings in relation to QMS with the departments.
- Being focal point for customer audits.
- Assure attainment of business objectives as a team.
- Work with production team to ensure product standards that will meet our customers' expectations.
- Maintain and improve housekeeping in all areas.
- Schedule and communicate information on external QMS audits.
- Prepare and implement the internal and external audits schedule in relation to QMS.
- To assess and control non-conformities, including maintenance of appropriate documentation and records.
- Handle customer complaints and control of all non-confirming products.
- To monitor quality of product beginning with raw materials, processes and up to the finished products.
- Maintain and ensure work safety and practices. Continually improve safety record by addressing both physical safety issues and employees safety attitudes.
- To upkeep with local safety regulations, update the Company guidelines and conduct regular surveys to ensure safety regulation compliance.
- To work with procurement team to control and assess suppliers and maintenance of Approved Suppliers Record.
- Develop and maintain effective communication link with the workforce and the management.
- Ensure a high level of discipline is established and maintained within the operation and take effective action in the event of deviations.
- Prepare, present and review operational performance and develop action plan for corrective, preventive and improvement.
- Working closely with all the departments to provide root causes analysis.
- Any other ad-hoc tasks to be assigned by the Management from time to time.
Requirements:
- At least Diploma / Degree in Material, Science, Mechanical, Chemical Engineering disciplines.
- Minimum 5 years' relevant SHEQ experience in manufacturing industry.
- Extensive knowledge of lean manufacturing.
- Knowledge in management and control of workforce.
- Good knowledge of ISO 9001 & 22000 Management System and Singapore WSH requirements.
- Report writing.
- Able to plan and delegate.
- Able to work under pressure.
- Computer literate.
