Summary:
We are seeking highly skilled Design Engineers to join our client based in Hong Kong.
Responsibilities:
· Develop detailed designs for civil engineering projects, including structural, geotechnical, and infrastructure works.
· Conduct feasibility studies and site investigations to gather relevant project data.
· Prepare engineering calculations, drawings, and specifications using appropriate software and tools.
· Ensure designs comply with local regulations, industry standards, and client requirements.
· Collaborate with architects, engineers, and contractors to address design issues and modifications.
· Review and evaluate project designs to identify potential risks and recommend mitigation measures.
· Participate in project meetings and provide technical support to project managers as required.
· Conduct site visits and inspections to monitor construction progress and ensure adherence to design specifications.
· Assist in preparing project proposals, budgets, and schedules.
· Stay updated on industry trends, technological advancements, and best practices in design engineering.
Requirements:
· Min Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
· Min 3 -5 years of experience as a Design Engineer in a construction or healthcare projects
· Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, Civil 3D) and structural design software (ETABS, SAP2000).
· Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
· Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to liaise confidently with stakeholders.
· Detail-oriented and capable of producing accurate work under tight deadlines.
· Willing to relocate to Hong Kong for project duration
