- Identify organizational purchasing needs
- Research, select, and procure quality products
- Negotiate with suppliers for best prices, minimum order quantities (MOQ), and delivery schedules
- Process requisitions and provide order status updates to management
- Determine retail prices and analyze profit margins
- Analyze target market and purchasing trends
- Update and forecast inventory levels
- Coordinate transportation and track orders for on-time delivery
- Monitor product quality and expiry, reporting discrepancies to suppliers and management
- Collaborate with relevant internal departments
- Support team goals by achieving assigned tasks
- Perform other duties as required
Requirements:
- Diploma in any discipline
- 1 - 2 years of buyer experience in FMCG
