Accounting Roles & Responsibilities:
- Process accounts payable and receivable transactions accurately and in a timely manner
- Prepare consolidation and entity level management report for monthly, quarterly, and yearly group reporting
- Responsible for monthly CPF contributions, tax clearance/ annual tax filing by working closely with Accountant during annual audit process.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the accounting system
- Quarterly GST submission and assist in preparation of annually corporate tax submission
- Long and short-term cash flow projection and monitoring
- Prepare invoicing, debit and credit notes, payments, issuance of cheques/ TT and e-filing duties, bank reconciliation, cashflow statements.
- Prepare letters and emails to remind customers of due payments
- Expenditure variance analysis and monitoring
- Liaison with external auditors pertaining to statutory audit
- Liaison with tax agent on company taxation matters
- Liaise with company secretary, bankers, local authorities, and other relevant parties pertaining to finance and account related matters
- Ad-hoc duties as and when required.
Job Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management, Accounting, Business Administration or related field
- Familiar to MOM rules & regulations is a preferred.
- At least 3 years of human resource and accounting experience is preferred
- Proficient in MS Office - Word, Excel and PowerPoint
- Proficient in HR, Payroll or Accounting software/system. (Infotech, E-Retail, MYOB)
- Well verse in English and Mandarin to liaise with overseas counter-part.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. - Excellent organisational and time-management skills to prioritise tasks effectively with minimal supervision.
- Attention to details, possesses positive can-do attitude and willing to learn.
