JOB SUMMARY
The Incumbent shall be responsible for formulating plans and managing progress of business support for subsidiaries and operating companies within Asia Pacific region, as well as Sojitz Asia Pte Ltd's company-level operations.
ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The Incumbent is responsible for implementing the following duties under the supervision of the CFO & CAO.
1. To make operational plan, budgeting and forecasting activities for CFO Office.
2. To support regional subsidiaries to plan administrative activities, including budgeting.
3. To control budget region-wide and monitor the activities of each subsidiary.
4. To support regional subsidiaries to make Agreement about the operational plans of each subsidiary.
5. To direct, supervise and coordinate the operation of manager(s) under CFO Office.
6. To evaluate rotational staff and national staff, and manage any matters related to the human resources.
7. To make Deliberation for the matters which requires Approval based on the Schedule of Authority.
8. To deal with other necessary matters.
QUALIFICATIONS
· Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
· Proven experience in a managerial role within Finance, Accounting or related field.
· Minimum 10 years of relevant experience with at least 3 years of managerial experience
· Japanese Language Proficiency Test N1 or equivalent is required as documentation and reporting on investment will be in Japanese for Japan HQ to evaluate.
· Advanced proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel and SAP.
· Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
