What you need to do:
Permit
- Submit applications to Singapore Customs, Agent Application for Product Code and Customs Clearance Permit (CCP) through the Tradenet / Tradeweb system
- Declare all types of customs permits and other required processes to facilitate the smooth movement of goods in and out of Singapore in Compliance with the Singapore Customs requirement
- Perform checks in accordance with internal standard operating procedures (SOP), government regulatory requirements, and legislation to identify non-compliance
- Handle Singapore Customs inquiries as required
- Other ad-hoc duties as per assigned by HOD and/or management
Freight
- Communicate and receive/send pre-alerts to and from shipping lines, airlines, shipping agents, freight forwarders and local customers
- Manage and overseeing all administrative matters of freight and customs operations:
- Manage timely receipt and submission of documentation for import and export of air/sea freight clearance:
- Preparation of AWB, HAWB, Permits, Manifest, Commercial Invoice, Packing List, Bill of ladings, Certificate of Origin, Hazardous Cargo Declaration etc.
- Co-ordinate Import and Export freight bookings with carrier and co-loader including Air / Sea (FCL/LCL) / Cross Border Trucking / Inland Clearance & Trucking
- Track and trace shipments, follow up and provide client with prompt updates of status
- Handling of problems or complaints arising from the shipper and consignee, researching, and resolving any issues regarding billing or shipping discrepancies, communicate timely correspondence back to both customers and vendors
- Any other ad-hoc duties assigned by superior
What you need to have:
- Min. GCE O Level
- 1 to 2 years of relevant experience in customs permit declaration and freight forwarding is preferred
- Well-versed in MS Excel
- Min. knowledge of HS Code
- Experience candidates may be considered for Officer / Executive role

- 5.5 days work, Mondays to Saturdays, 9am to 6pm, 9am to 1pm, Saturday WFH
- Candidate with experience can be considered for executive role
