A Research Officer position is available immediately at the IMCB Cell Fate Engineering & Therapeutics Laboratory. The laboratory is interested in dissecting the genetic and epigenetic mechanisms regulating cell fate changes, while developing novel tools and strategies for deriving differentiated cell types via defined factors reprogramming.
Applicants with relevant background in Molecular Biology, Stem Cell Biology, Biochemistry, or related fields are invited to apply. Experience with Stem cells, Genomics, or animal work would be highly desirable, though not essential. Successful candidates must be interested in Translational research, highly motivated, and be able to work in an interdisciplinary environment.
Requirements:
- M.Sc. or B.Sc. (Hons) from a well-recognized institution in Life Sciences/Biomedical Sciences
- Committed and able to work flexible hours
- Expertise in cell culture, RNA extraction and other Molecular Biology techniques
- Excellent analytical, technical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent organizational skills and experience in lab management
