Role Profile

  • Title: Retail Executive, Moutai and Chinese Baijiu Retail Shop
  • Contract: Full-time
  • Location: Orchard Road, Singapore

The Role

As part of the international expansion, our client is establishing footprint in Singapore and opening its first store in Orchard Road. The Shop Manager is a newly created position and is a crucial role in launching the business in the country from scratch.


Key Responsibilities

  • Greet and engage with customers in a friendly and professional manner.
  • Assist customers in finding the products they are looking for and provide recommendations based on their needs.
  • Maintain a clean and organized sales floor, including product displays and shelves.
  • Process transactions accurately and efficiently using our point-of-sale system.
  • Meet and exceed individual and team sales targets on a daily, weekly, and monthly basis.
  • Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and returns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Stay up-to-date on product knowledge, promotions, and current sales trends.
  • Collaborate with team members to achieve team goals and contribute to a positive work environment.
  • Assist in inventory management by monitoring stock levels and replenishing merchandise as needed.
  • Participate in training sessions and meetings to enhance product knowledge and sales techniques.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience in retail sales, preferably in the alcoholic beverages or luxury goods sector.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong customer service and sales skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment.
  • Attention to detail and accuracy in handling transactions.
  • Good organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to work independently as well as in a team.
  • Basic knowledge of computer systems and point-of-sale software.
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy merchandise, as needed.
  • Positive attitude and a passion for helping customers.
