Our client, a leading quality food provider and wholesale, is looking for suitable talents to join their growing business as Inventory Manager.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct daily inventory forecasting and maintain optimal inventory levels.
- Manage order processing and order management.
- Oversee stock transfers, withdrawals, and requests from other internal departments.
- Perform month-end reconciliation and tracking to ensure inventory balances are accurate.
- Develop and implement inventory control procedures for accurate and efficient inventory management.
- Monitor inventory levels and track movements to prevent stockouts and overstock situations.
- Coordinate with purchasing and production teams to optimize inventory levels and ensure timely product availability.
- Implement and conduct periodic cycle counts to maintain inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
- Analyze inventory data and generate reports to provide insights for decision-making.
- Propose and implement strategies to enhance inventory management processes and minimize costs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address inventory-related issues and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies related to inventory management and food safety.
- Train and supervise inventory team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Diploma / Bachelor Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years of proven experience as an Inventory Manager or in a similar role, preferably in the foodservice or food manufacturing industry.
- Possess leadership and team management experience.
- Strong knowledge of inventory management software and systems, proficient in Microsoft Excel.
OTHER INFORMATION:
- Location: North
- Working hours: 5.5 days work week
- Salary: Salary will commensurate according to experience & qualifications.
