Job Description
- Quality Management System (QMS): Develop, implement, and maintain the QMS in compliance with ISO standards (ISO 9001:2015)
Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with internal and external requirements.
Manage documentation and records related to quality management.
- Process Improvement: Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing processes.
Implement Six Sigma, Lean Manufacturing, or other process improvement methodologies.
Monitor and report on key performance indicators (KPIs) related to quality.
- Compliance and Certification: Ensure that the company maintains its ISO certification by preparing for and passing audits.
Stay updated on changes in ISO standards and ensure the company’s compliance.
Liaise with certification bodies and external auditors.
- Team Leadership: Lead and manage the quality assurance team.
Provide training and development for staff to ensure they are aware of and adhere to quality standards.
Foster a culture of quality and continuous improvement within the organization.
- Customer Focus: Address customer complaints and ensure that corrective actions are implemented.
Work closely with the sales and customer service teams to ensure customer satisfaction.
Analyze customer feedback and implement changes to improve product quality.
- Supplier Quality Management: Evaluate and monitor supplier performance.
Conduct supplier audits and ensure they comply with the company's quality standards.
Collaborate with suppliers to resolve quality issues.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks related to product quality and manufacturing processes.
Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies.
Conduct root cause analysis and implement corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
The Successful Applicant
- A Diploma/ Degree in engineering, manufacturing, quality management, or a related field.
- Minimum 5-7 years of experience in quality assurance within a manufacturing environment.
- Certified Internal Quality Auditor (ISO 9000:2015) and proven track record of managing ISO certification processes and maintaining compliance.
- In-depth understanding of local and international quality standards and regulations.
