Responsibilities
- End-to-End Al Project Leadership: Take on comprehensive responsibility for Al pipeline development, including aspects of computer vision and software development. This encompasses ideation, construction, deployment, and continuous improvement of high-quality, scalable Al software solutions tailored to meet specific business objectives.
- Development and Optimization of Al and Computer Vision Pipelines: Lead the creation and delivery of scalable Al and computer vision pipelines. This role involves working with both local, on-premises applications and cloud-based platforms.
- Benchmarking and Model Enhancement: Actively engage in benchmarking to evaluate and enhance the performance of Al models. Stay updated with the latest developments, continuously refining model architectures and optimizing the codebase for improved performance and stability.
- Problem-Solving and Deployment Efficiency: Identify and solve complex problems in the software, ensuring smooth and efficient deployment processes. Focus on enhancing application performance and maintaining software stability.
- Collaborative Solution Development: Work closely with various stakeholders, including Computer Vision Engineers and other technical teams, to develop comprehensive, integrated solutions. Play a pivotal role in understanding complex requirements and transforming them into effective Al and computer vision pipelines.
- Software and Cloud Infrastructure Optimization: Emphasize the optimization of software applications for both on-premises and cloud deployments.
- Leadership and Technical Guidance: Provide mentorship and guidance to a team of developers and engineers. Foster a culture of innovation and collaboration, encouraging the professional growth of team members and ensuring alignment with project goals.
Technical Abilities
- Advanced Degree: Master's or PhD in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related fields, with equivalent practical experience.
- Deep Learning and Computer Vision: 3+ years in deep learning for computer vision, with experience in object detection, image segmentation, and pose estimation.
- Programming and Al Frameworks: Expertise in Python and deep learning frameworks like PyTorch and TensorFlow.
- Computer Vision Pipeline Experience: Proven ability in developing and implementing computer vision pipelines.
- Computer Science Fundamentals: knowledge of data structures, algorithms, and software design.
- Model Optimization: Experience in model performance optimization, including edge hardware familiarity.
- Cloud Technology: experience in deploying and managing Al solutions on cloud platforms.
- Software Development: Proven ability in creating robust, scalable software solutions, with knowledge in software architecture and production-level coding.
- Teamwork: Excellent communication skills, a proactive approach, and ability to work effectively in a global team.
